Looking for Michigan Michigan queens? Here are two sources:

Dr. Larry Connor is offering Michigan Queens from his queen rearing program at Connor Tree Farms in Galesburg, Michigan, east of Kalamazoo. You have a choice of ripe queen cells within 24 hours of emerging, or virgin queens ready to mate with your drones.

These queens are from stock developed at Purdue University. They have overwintered well in Michigan and have started strong in the spring. Dr. Connor is assisted by Craig Fuller and Cathy King. They offer free advice on how to re-queen a hive.

1. Virgin Queens (1-10 days after emergence) $14 each, or 11+ for $10 each. Single cqueens are available, but the suggested minimum order is 5.

2. Ripe Cells (within 24 hrs of emergence)  $10 each or 11+ for $7 each. Single cells are available, but the suggested minimum order is 5.

For information about Michigan queens, contact Craig Fuller.  Email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Dr. Connor would like to establish a group of trained queen producers in Michigan. If you have an interest, please contact Larry Connor.  Email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
