GAAMPs = Generally Accepted Agricultural Management Practices

The State of Michigan has issued a set of Generally Accepted Agricultural Management Practices for the benefit of people engaged in agriculture in Michigan. Beekeeping is agriculture. Following these guidelines is not required, but it is recommended. Following the GAAMPs offers protection under Michigan's Right To Farm Act.
